Kamakura’s Inamura-ga-saki Shore

Route 134 Seaside Walk Series - Part 3

Inamura-ga-saki is a small cape jutting into the sea between Yui-ga-hama and Shichiri-ga-hama beach. There is a tiny stretch of rock next to the cape; it is part of what is called Inamura-ga-saki Koen Park. German Nobel Prize winner Dr. Heinrich Koch was extremely impressed by the stunning Enoshima sunset view. Inamura-ga-saki Station on the Enoden Line is only a few minutes’ walk from here. **This is the third of a 5-part series about the area between Kamakura and Enoshima along Route 134, where there are five beautiful shoreline spots, each with its own unique face.
