Sighting migratory birds can be hit or miss depending on the day and season when visiting the large ponds at Okinawa Zoo and Museum in Okinawa City. There is a collection of proud birds in the Nature Land part of the zoo though that features dozens of birds for viewing enjoyment. Follow the recommended path once entering the zoo and enjoy bird watching at Japan's southernmost zoo.
