The moss garden of the Hakone Museum of Art becomes a hidden paradise in mid-November. 130 kinds of moss cover the garden, showing off their brilliant, bright greens. More than 200 Japanese maple leaf trees (momiji) are a stunning crimson. And the combination of the beauty of colors and the museum’s traditional teahouses harmonize in a rolling landscape. An index of "Hakone's seven nice museums" series is here.
