Heli-skiing is the ultimate dream of many skiers and snowboarders around the world and now you can even do it near Niseko at Shiribetsu-Dake. Hokkaido Backcountry Club offers heli-ski tours of Shiribetsu-Dake. This 1107m volcano delivers 360 degree views and endless runs down all sides of the mountain. It is an amazing day of adventure as you get the excitement of the helicopter ride and runs of untouched powder, all with guides who know exactly what they are doing . And if you get a stunning bluebird day, like we got, you will love every second of it.

Some awesome pics! Looks like you need to be a member to join in this fun according to the website. However, with some planning it looks like the price is reasonable and surely unforgettable!
Membership starts from 2000 yen though so if you can afford the heli-skiing you can afford the membership fees. And it is one of only a few heli-skiing options in Japan surprisingly.
