I think it’s safe to say that we all know Albert Einstein. But did you know that he’s visited Japan? Einstein actually received his notice of the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics on the ship during his trip to Japan. In Fukuoka, he stayed at Mitsui Club in Mojiko. The building still remains today and the rooms are displayed the same way it was when Einstein and his wife came more than 90 years ago. You can see old furniture and the architecture from the 1920s. Visit the former Moji Mitsui Club to see the room that a genius of the 20th century stayed in during his trip to Japan.
